6 Festivals follows Maxie, Summer, and James—three best friends bound by their love of music—as they race to experience six music festivals before James succumbs to brain cancer. With James dreaming of becoming a promoter, Maxie embracing chaos, and Summer pursuing her singing talent, the festivals become more than just an escape. Featuring appearances from Australia’s top indie bands and musicians, the film captures the thrill of rebellion, friendship, and live music. Along the way, the trio confronts their fears, learning that even in the face of loss, music and connection can offer healing, joy, and the courage to embrace life fully.
